Staff screwed upwards 3 reservations we fabricated dorsum five months ago. This afterward one resident chosen mean solar day before to confirm. Couldn't add a night to stay with assigned site due to incompetent software, park rep told me software was meant for hotels, and so no sites tin can be assigned before actual cheque in. Low hanging tree limbs, told park maintenance guy twice but in 6 days they never took intendance of issue. Roads were riddled with pot holes, and I mean many ans some three-4 inches deep, great to drive rig through. I, as a Good Sam order wagon master would never brand another reservation here again. Ir doesn't take a lot to trim trees ans keep roads maintained, especially gravel type.

We stayed here in a 45-foot motorhome while visiting Charleston. We were here 3 nights, arriving right after a heavy rainstorm. There were puddles in the roads but park staff was busy on a grader, smoothing and leveling the roads out and putting gravel in the puddles. Park is beautiful with a lake, complete with several pairs of ducks, in the middle. There is a large pavilion for shade and benches and even hammocks by the lake! We weren't traveling with children merely there is a big playground and a game field with corn hole and other games. No canis familiaris park, but lots of walking trails around the lake and through the woods. Bathrooms were very clean and nice. Didn't apply the puddle. We would definitely stay again. Pull-thru sites are very long.

This campground is a swamp. I was placed in a site which was a lake with an area of gravel simply large enough for my 22' travel trailer but had to get my feet moisture getting in and out. At that place were other sites available, not as bad as mine but the office staff would not allow me to motion to a better location considering "other campers were coming in". All the same, those sites remained vacant during my stay. At that place are RV owners living permanently in this park who go up at 5 AM to get to piece of work with loud trucks and gravel route noise. The roads are dirt or gravel in poor repair with mud holes and standing water. Muscovy ducks roam the park with accompanying scattered feces: made for me having wet stinking soiled dogs when they had to go out(and back in). This campground is convenient to Charleston, just next fourth dimension I volition gladly trade a longer commute to avoid this facility.

Sad to say but I had a bad stay at this campground. First permit me say that this is a very nice campground. That's about it though. Many issues, both customer service and facilities itself. Showtime I made reservations ii months prior for a 50a full hookup pull thru site. Checked in, got all my paperwork, instructions on how to get to the site, and abroad we went. When we got to the site, I had a 30a full hookup site. Chosen the office and they did nothing. Girl said there are no other sites open. I said that there were three sites on my row empty with 50a service. She said that they were taken. So after an hour of them promising to help, I set up camp and worked off one AC at a time to make information technology work. Never heard some other discussion. I asked if the director could do something and never received a call back or terminate by. Nothing. Second. There are no paved roads coming in, throughout, or going out. Potholes and holes filled with mud that you take to drive thru to get in. Now multiply the issue when towing your Harley behind the coach. Unbelievable. Third. Rained the second night for 2 hours. Difficult rain. Completely swamped out all the site near me. I had 2 inches of h2o on my patio pad on a pad that was half covered with stones and the other hard mud. Forth. They never, and I hateful never, answer to letters afterward them never answering a phone. Call them for an event, the fax line picks up. Terrible customer service Fifth. Stayed 4 days, pool out of order iii of the 4 days. Listen you lot, after walking effectually Charleston in 95 degree heat with xc% humidity, you could actually apply a pool. When walking all the manner to the front part, because they don't answer a phone, the explanation is they're doing maintenance. My coach was directly across the street from the pool. Never seen anyone working on the pool in 3 days. 6th. The dryer in the laundry room (the only one working out of 3) took five times to somewhat dry the closthes. Jeans were still damp. Although the office did say that they would refund some of the coin. Such a shame. Beautiful campground if it was run right!

An older park, but seems to take some money sunk into information technology recently. Quiet except for the occasional train, which isn't often and is quickly gone. It's a natural type of park, with gravel roads and gravel/grass sites. Everything was in working social club and all the sites are pull-through. There'south a lot of permanent campers and there is too tent camping.

This campground is located about 12 miles southwest of downtown Charleston. It is in a generally placidity surface area abroad from highways simply you may hear a passing train at night. Most sites are pull throughs. At that place are some "seasonal" sites some of which are not too attractive. There is a puddle that we didn't utilise. The costless WiFi was spotty merely mostly worked for us. The bathrooms were non kept particularly clean. You walk beyond a grass and dirt area before walking into the bathroom and then the flooring seemed to be muddied from the foot traffic. We had a full claw up site with 50 amp electrical and paid almost $34 per night with Passport America.

Nosotros arrived late in the afternoon, which fabricated the park a haven for weary travelers. The staff were very nice, the park is secluded, repose, and felt very condom and comforting. We were able to get a good nights rest and continue our journeying the next morning. If nosotros are in the surface area and need to finish for a peaceful residue, nosotros will return with no hesitation.

This could be a very nice campground. The sites are level. The people are overnice. They have a nice puddle and a fish swimming (catch & release - no license required) with a park bench and several picnic tables and so you lot can sentinel the ducks, frogs and turtles. Just...the roads are narrow and not maintained. There are huge potholes that fill up with muddied h2o when it rains, and there are a lot of permanent and seasonal residents who don't continue their RVs or their sites make clean. Not worth the cost, even with Passport America. We won't be coming dorsum.

Nosotros have been calling for 2 days straight left a few messages. No ane returned our calls fifty-fifty though the recording said they would. I registered online and still have never heard back from this campground. We decided to endeavour anyway. Showed up there was a sign on the door "park full", at luncheon dorsum at 2:00pm. We had to drive through the park to turn around so we did and on our fashion out the office was open up. They did have some sites with water and electrical so we decided to stay. The sites were all mud with some rock hither and in that location. Never again. This park is a complete bosom. To talk to someone in the office you take to bulldoze down the road to the office and hope someone is there, considering no i answers the phone. As of yet 4 days later no one called u.s.a. or responded to our online reservation

I month reservation made initially in July 2015 for ane calendar month stay from March 1 through April i, 2016 for a total fee of $602.00.. Reservation confirmed January 12, 2016 and over again in February, 2016. Arrived early afternoon March one, 2016 and advised that a i (one) calendar month site bachelor was not available then we must stay in a one (1) week site for more than $twoscore.00 per day and if and only if someone vacates a one (one) month site (who knows when) would then have to move to the i (ane) calendar month site but would have to pay the weekly rate or daily charge per unit. No prior contact from owner or managing director and no owner or manager on site to hash out the abysmal manner in which assistants of the park reservations was handled. This manner of dealing was unacceptable, but due to the lateness of the day we decided to stay ane night and seek accomodations elsewhere. Nosotros were successful and are leaving after one night never to return. In addition, every bit nosotros approached our designated evening site we were disappointed by the less than welcoming ambiance of the park. Arriving at our site we institute two (ii) empty beer cases and other debris at our site. The roads are dirt and not well maintained... Scratch that, there appears to exist no attempt to maintain the park infrastructure. Overall a disappointing and irritating experience. The but positive that I have observed is that the wi-fi is meliorate than the last rv park in which we stayed. That said it is inappreciably worth the daily charge for this field of unpleasant dreams. We volition never consider staying here again. Are disappointed in the rating given this park by Good Sam and AAA as well as others.

Sometimes what makes an RV Park special is the quality of its guests. Lake Aire is just that kind of place. The sites are grass and gravel but large enough for whatsoever rig, most are pull throughs. The shower and bathroom facilities are a chip dated, merely they are working to upgrade. The pool is very make clean and well maintained. The small lake and surrounding woods requite the place a prissy, secluded feeling while being close to the attractions in and around Charleston. There are some seasonal guests that could stand to clean upwardly, just they are isolated away from the transient sites. Nosotros enjoyed a very pleasant visit and will definitely render. All of the guests were great people, full of jokes and stories that help make this place special.

When it rains it's not good. Drainage issues. Needs gravel or physical pads. Leveling sites would help a lot.
